Hi there! Just wanted to let you know that we have been working really hard behind the scenes to bring a FREE Transparendo sewalong for you and your sewing friends.
Who is we? Verena from einfach bunt Quilts and I have teamed up just for you. She will be corresponding mainly with German quilters and patchworkers here in Germany, while I will be concentrating more on the English speaking world internationally.
Transparendo Sewalong
What is the sewalong all about?
We love sewalongs and are all about the community. It makes us both so happy to see you all share your ideas and creativity with each other to grow our patchwork family. We wanted to get you all together to have some extra fun this fall after all those corona years of distress and disharmony. What better way than with an exciting, weekly sewalong with a modern, transparent quilt pattern with a free sewalong?!
There will also be a digital version of the book offered through Etsy. It will be available closer to the the starting date of the sewalong. Each week, a portion of the book will be mailed directly to your email in-box with more exciting blocks to complete.
Sewalong Schedule
Week for week, over a period of 15 weeks, you will be given an assignment. All you have to do is finish before the deadline and post on Instagram or send me (info@easypatchwork) a copy of the image preferrably 72 dpi with < 800 pixel resolution. From all of the photo entries that week, one random winner will be chosen. You can win more than once, too! Yes, you read that correctly!!

Yes, there will most certainly be prizes. We are still working on all of the logistics and sponsors, but we have some great prizes in store for you along the way.
At the end of the 15 weeks, you can enter your finished quilt top for the final prize -
A FULL VERSION OF EQ8 QUILT DESIGN SOFTWARE!
We are so excited about this too! The most generous folks at Electric Quilt Company were extremely kind to sponsor this most incredible software to one very lucky winner, INTERNATIONALLY!
If you are interested in purchasing the software, we can assist you with that as well with special discount code for participants. More about that later, though.
But don't forget, we have another prizes along the way. More importantly, don't forget about the community. We are very supportive of each other in this beautiful world of quilting and patchwork. We want you to be just as supportive. Visit each other websites, blogs and IG accounts. Help each other when asked. Show an interest. Be nice and respectful.
Fees
There are no registration fees for the sewalong! You do, however, need to have a copy of the book to finish the weekly assignments. You will need fabric to sew the quilt as well. You will not be allowed to enter a virtual finished quilt, even if you are sneaky enough to try. : ) It will have to be physical quilt blocks and finished quilt top for the assignments to be completed.
